Edward T. Bullister, Ph.D.
Consulting Associate in Computational Fluid Dynamics

Dr. Bullister is the President of Cambridge Technology Development, Inc., and an expert in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He developed CFD software at the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As Principal Investigator in several NASA Phase I and Phase II SBIR grants, he commercialized this software and brought it to widespread usage in the form of the NEKTON CFD package. NEKTON was subsequently bought by Fluent and integrated into its suite of codes.

Dr. Bullister has applied these CFD codes to many consulting and research problems in the field of fluid flow, including particle entrainment and transport, natural and forced convention flows, plumes, pollution containment, dense plume dispersion, ventilation systems, and the quantitative and statistical analysis.

Dr. Bullister holds a B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and M.S. and Ph.D. Degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, all in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with a Ph.D thesis in Computational Fluid Mechanics.
