Scientist Mrs. Hendrix has performed original research in hydrological modeling and estimation, with emphasis on soil/vegetation, the atmospheric boundary layer, and rainfall. Her strong mathematics background has generated an expertise in statistical methodologies including data assimilation (combining models and observations) and Monte Carlo modeling of uncertainties in nonlinear systems. Mrs. Hendrix holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics (emphasis: Statistical Optimization) and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley (2004) and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Hydrology) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2007).
