June – August 2007. REU Intern/Fellow, MD Sea Grant, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Horn Point Lab, Cambridge, MD. Developed and completed an independent research project which encompassed field and laboratory work, a formal presentation to the science community at Horn Point Lab, and a final research paper. Project focus was on marine sedimentation rates in Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and St. Martin River.
2005-2007. Research Associate, International Center for Remote Sensing Education, Elkridge, MD. Performed research, database work, website analysis, and general administrative support.
Jan–Sep 2005. Research Associate, WindCurrent. Performed research, produced e-newsletters, worked on databases, assisted with website and various project quality control issues, and revised communications and public relations materials.
